Im 19. Jahrhundert wurde der DALSLAND-Kanal gebaut, der 250 km der dalsl\u00e4ndischen Seen verbindet. Nur musste zur Verwirklichung eine L\u00f6sung f\u00fcr die enge Schlucht von HAVERUD her.
