Da auch umliegende D\u00f6rfer und Kl\u00f6ster zerst\u00f6rt wurden, schwankt die Zahl der Ermordeten zwischen 600 und \u00fcber 1.000.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" src=\"https:\/\/wir-sind-dann-mal-weg.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/20251218_102851-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3146\" srcset=\"https:\/\/wir-sind-dann-mal-weg.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/20251218_102851-1024x768.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/wir-sind-dann-mal-weg.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/20251218_102851-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/wir-sind-dann-mal-weg.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/20251218_102851-768x576.jpg 768w, https:\/\/wir-sind-dann-mal-weg.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/20251218_102851-1536x1152.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/wir-sind-dann-mal-weg.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/20251218_102851-2048x1536.jpg 2048w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">hier sind die Namen aller Ermordeten verewigt<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Vorausgegangen war ein Kriegsverbrechen der <em>Partisanen<\/em>: in den Tagen zuvor hatten sie 81 Wehrmachtsoldaten, die sich ergeben hatten, erschossen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dies war der Grund, warum keiner der deutschen Verantwortlichen jemals angeklagt und verurteilt wurde.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Auch gab es nie offizielle Entsch\u00e4digungen f\u00fcr die Familien in KALAVRYTA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2000 besuchte Bundespr\u00e4sident Johannes Rau die Gedenkst\u00e4tte, die heute in Griechenland ein Nationaldenkmal darstellt:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" src=\"https:\/\/wir-sind-dann-mal-weg.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/20251218_102831-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3148\" srcset=\"https:\/\/wir-sind-dann-mal-weg.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/20251218_102831-1024x768.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/wir-sind-dann-mal-weg.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/20251218_102831-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/wir-sind-dann-mal-weg.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/20251218_102831-768x576.jpg 768w, https:\/\/wir-sind-dann-mal-weg.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/20251218_102831-1536x1152.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/wir-sind-dann-mal-weg.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/20251218_102831-2048x1536.jpg 2048w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Unsere letzten zwei \u00dcbernachtungen in KALAVRYTA waren nicht sch\u00f6n: trotz der touristischen Bedeutung gibt es keinen Stellplatz. Also mussten wir in der ersten Nacht entlang einer Stra\u00dfe stehen. W\u00e4re an sich kein Problem gewesen, h\u00e4tte es nicht in fast jedem Haus kl\u00e4ffende Hunde gegeben, die Randale gemacht haben. Die zweite Nacht haben wir auf einem kleinen, sch\u00e4bigen Parkplatz \u00fcbernachtet. Dann aber auch die M\u00f6nche (mit den Nonnen habe ich bessere Erfahrungen gemacht) mit ihrer selbstgerechten Hochn\u00e4sigkeit.
