Der franz\u00f6sische Taucher Jacques-Yves-Cousteau untersuchte systematisch das unterirdische H\u00f6hlensystem. 1985 konnte ein Tauchroboter in 308 Meter den tiefsten Punkt erreichen. Somit ist diese Quellh\u00f6hle die tiefste der Welt.
